Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a 24-bed cardiac ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and ECG telemetry with precision
- Document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Advanced cardiac life support proficiency
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
