Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure 100% coverage of critical business logic.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs with high precision using JIRA, ensuring proper prioritization by the development team.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous regression testing and faster release cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
- Perform manual testing for complex user scenarios where automation is not feasible.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve application stability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or Appium.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
