Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and execution of core R&D projects, from conceptualization to prototype validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and engineering, to translate research findings into viable commercial products.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, driving innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Author and file patents for novel technologies and proprietary methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and academic research to ensure Apex Future Labs remains at the forefront of our sector.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Research and Development, with a proven track record of leading technical projects.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS).
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve unstructured problems with limited data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets and coordinating external research collaborations is a plus.
