Responsibilities
- Lead and define the technical direction for advanced AI/ML research projects from conception to deployment.
- Design, develop, and implement novel machine learning algorithms and models, with a focus on deep learning, reinforcement learning, or large-scale predictive analytics.
- Conduct rigorous scientific experimentation, analyze results, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize model performance and robustness.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, contributing to the broader scientific community and enhancing InnovateCore's reputation.
- Mentor junior research scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business development teams to translate research prototypes into robust, scalable solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, evaluating new technologies and methodologies for potential application within our research agenda.
- Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio of the company through patents and trade secrets.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in AI/ML research, with a strong track record of innovation and impact.
- Expertise in at least one major AI/ML domain (e.g., Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Probabilistic Modeling).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research initiatives and drive projects to successful completion independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a rigorous approach to scientific methodology.
- Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, CVPR, ACL) or journals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
