Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and strategic direction of the cardiovascular department
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in complex case management
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Drive research initiatives and publication opportunities
- Mentor medical staff and advance professional development programs
- Collaborate with industry partners on clinical trials
Qualifications
- MD/DO with board certification in Cardiology
- 10+ years clinical experience with 5+ in leadership
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- Fellowship from ACGME-accredited program
- Proven track record in quality improvement initiatives
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- DEI leadership experience in healthcare settings
