Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and quality improvement initiatives across 15+ medical departments
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols aligned with national healthcare standards
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs
- Drive regulatory compliance and accreditation processes for JCAHO and CMS requirements
- Collaborate with C-suite on strategic planning and healthcare innovation initiatives
- Mentor medical staff through professional development programs and peer review processes
- Represent the organization in community health partnerships and policy advocacy
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree with active medical license in Massachusetts
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty + 10+ years clinical experience
- 5+ years in healthcare leadership with proven operational oversight
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Public Health preferred
- Expertise in value-based care models and population health management
- Demonstrated success in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
- Strong financial acumen and experience with healthcare analytics platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement and crisis management
