Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, reduce defects, and improve overall operational performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless product launches and continuous process improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation solutions to enhance production capabilities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and process simulation tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing change and collaborating across departments.
