Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual, couples, and group therapy.
- Case Management & Advocacy: Assist clients in navigating complex social service systems, securing housing, employment, and medical benefits.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate stabilization support to clients in distress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff and legal advocates.
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LMSW with a valid New York State license.
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical or community health setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health challenges and substance use disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure and empathy.
