Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Advocate for clients to ensure access to essential resources, healthcare, and housing services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and legal aid agencies.
- Document all client interactions and progress notes in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques in high-stress situations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Current New York State LCSW or LMSW licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work or mental health services.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and recovery models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
