Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D project lifecycles from concept to prototype validation.
- Develop and iterate on novel material synthesis processes in our state-of-the-art laboratory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product, to ensure scalable R&D outcomes.
- Author high-quality technical documentation, white papers, and patent applications.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and performance optimization opportunities.
- Present research findings and progress updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in advanced research settings.
- Proven track record of publications, patents, or significant technical contributions.
- Expertise in experimental design, statistical analysis, and simulation software.
- Deep understanding of thin-film deposition, polymer science, or nanomaterials.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, milestone-driven R&D environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data for non-technical audiences.
