Responsibilities

- Analyze large datasets using statistical modeling to identify key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate innovative solutions into production pipelines.
- Author high-impact technical reports, patents, and peer-reviewed white papers.
- Mentor junior research staff and foster a culture of scientific excellence and safety.
- Present research findings to senior leadership to influence strategic product development roadmaps.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related physical science discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience in advanced research and product development.
- Proven track record of innovation, evidenced by patents or high-impact technical publications.
- Expertise in analytical techniques such as SEM, XRD, and thermal analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB for data visualization and modeling.
