Responsibilities

- Analyze complex data sets to validate experimental hypotheses and drive iterative product improvements.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure research goals align with strategic business roadmaps.
- Manage laboratory resources, equipment procurement, and strict adherence to safety and compliance protocols.
- Document research findings, maintain comprehensive technical journals, and present reports to executive stakeholders.
- Secure intellectual property by documenting novel methodologies and participating in patent application processes.
Qualifications
- PhD in Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in an R&D setting, with a proven track record of taking projects from concept to prototype.
- Expertise in advanced data analysis, modeling, and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or COMSOL).
- Strong leadership abilities with a history of managing high-performance technical teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing research budgets and navigating project timelines in an agile environment.
- Deep understanding of intellectual property laws and technology commercialization processes.
