The Role:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our core R&D initiatives. From initial concept definition to prototyping and pilot testing, you will drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of advanced AI and robotic algorithms.
- Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle, ensuring projects meet milestones and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and hardware engineers.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new technologies and methodologies for application in our products.
- Define technical roadmaps and mentor junior researchers and engineers.
- Prepare technical documentation and present research findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and relevant simulation software (e.g., Gazebo, ROS).
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer vision.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
