Responsibilities
- Design and execute cutting-edge clinical trials and translational research projects
- Lead cross-functional teams of 8+ scientists and research associates
- Secure $1M+ in NIH/industry grants and manage research budgets
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, NEJM)
- Develop novel biomarkers and therapeutic protocols
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at international conferences
- Ensure compliance with FDA/ICH-GCP protocols and ethical standards
Qualifications
- PhD or MD/PhD in Biomedical Sciences or related field
- 8+ years of progressive research experience in oncology or immunology
- Track record of securing federal grants and peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in CRISPR, single-cell sequencing, or immunoassay development
- Strong leadership experience managing research teams >5 years
- Active NIH funding or equivalent industry sponsorship
- Valid Massachusetts medical research license
