Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical diagnostic and treatment planning initiatives for complex oncological patients.
- Direct phase II and III clinical trials, overseeing experimental therapeutic implementations and safety protocols.
- Facilitate and chair weekly multidisciplinary tumor board reviews to coordinate highly personalized patient care.
- Mentor, evaluate, and provide clinical guidance to oncology residents, fellows, and nursing staff.
- Ensure stringent compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards across all department operations.
- Pioneer new patient-centric care pathways to minimize treatment toxicity and maximize quality of life.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology.
- Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Medical License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Minimum of 7 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in oncology, with at least 2 years in a leadership or directorial capacity.
- Demonstrated experience as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in clinical trials.
- Outstanding empathetic communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
