Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic surgery.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of cardiac nurses, perfusionists, and physician assistants.
- Develop and implement advanced surgical protocols to improve patient recovery and safety.
- Conduct patient consultations, pre-operative assessments, and comprehensive post-operative care.
- Collaborate with clinical researchers on innovative cardiac technology projects.
- Maintain high levels of surgical performance and compliance with hospital safety standards.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Medical License in the State of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of intensive surgical experience in a high-volume center.
