We are currently seeking an exceptional Lead Cardiac Surgeon to head our surgical team and mentor the next generation of cardiothoracic specialists.

Responsibilities
- Perform complex adult cardiac procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery.
- Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams during high-acuity operations.
- Develop and implement advanced surgical protocols to improve patient recovery benchmarks.
- Provide expert clinical consultations for complex cardiovascular cases.
- Mentor surgical residents and junior staff members within the department.
- Maintain impeccable documentation and adherence to JCAHO quality standards.
- Participate in clinical research trials to pioneer new cardiac intervention techniques.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience as a lead surgeon in a high-volume center.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Proven track record in robotic-assisted thoracic/cardiac surgery.
- Strong publication history in peer-reviewed cardiovascular journals.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative clinical environment.
- Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) preferred.
