We are seeking a visionary Lead Cardiac Surgeon to join our elite surgical team. You will lead complex procedures, mentor junior surgeons, and contribute to groundbreaking clinical research in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic reconstructions.
- Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in high-stress environments.
- Direct preoperative assessments and postoperative care management plans.
- Collaborate with the Cardiology and Anesthesiology departments on complex case planning.
- Mentor surgical residents and fellows within our academic teaching partnership.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives and clinical research trials.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical experience in a high-volume cardiac surgery center.
- Proven proficiency in robotic-assisted cardiothoracic procedures.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing surgical clinical workflows.
- Strong publication history in peer-reviewed cardiovascular journals preferred.
- Commitment to academic excellence and evidence-based medicine.
