Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and aortic surgeries.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to determine optimal patient treatment plans.
- Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to junior surgeons and residents.
- Drive the adoption of new surgical technologies and minimally invasive techniques.
- Maintain impeccable documentation and compliance with hospital safety standards.
- Collaborate with cardiac research teams to advance clinical studies.
- Conduct follow-up care and manage patient recovery protocols.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in a high-volume cardiac surgery center.
- Demonstrated expertise in robotic-assisted cardiothoracic surgery.
- Strong leadership skills and a proven record of team management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide empathetic patient care.
