You will work in a state-of-the-art surgical suite, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and researchers to deliver patient-centered outcomes in a high-intensity environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-complexity cardiovascular procedures including bypass grafts and valve repairs.
- Lead and mentor a team of surgical fellows and residents in clinical rotations.
- Collaborate with the research department to implement emerging surgical technologies.
- Oversee pre-operative evaluations and comprehensive post-operative care plans.
- Maintain excellence in clinical documentation and patient safety standards.
- Participate in board meetings to improve departmental surgical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a high-volume cardiac surgical unit.
- Proven track record in peer-reviewed clinical research and publications.
- Exceptional leadership and crisis management capabilities.
- Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) preferred.
