Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair, and aortic surgery.
- Lead multidisciplinary team briefings and post-operative care strategy sessions.
- Maintain excellence in surgical outcomes and patient safety protocols.
- Mentor junior surgeons, residents, and clinical fellows.
- Contribute to institutional research initiatives and clinical trials.
- Engage with patients and families to provide compassionate, comprehensive pre-operative education.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging surgical technologies and minimally invasive techniques.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical experience in high-volume cardiac centers.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Proven expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted cardiac surgery.
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to manage high-pressure surgical environments.
- Strong publication record or history of contribution to clinical research.
