Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries with high precision and clinical excellence.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, residents, and nursing staff.
- Develop and implement new clinical pathways to improve patient outcomes and recovery times.
- Participate in high-impact medical research and clinical trials.
- Maintain impeccable standards of surgical safety and documentation protocols.
- Collaborate with cardiology and anesthesia departments for comprehensive patient management.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-residency experience in a high-volume surgical environment.
- Proven track record of leadership in a clinical setting.
- Active medical license in the state of Massachusetts or ability to obtain one.
- Excellence in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
- Strong commitment to patient advocacy and ethical medical practice.
