Beacon Heights Advanced Cardiology is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cardiac Sonographer to join our elite diagnostic imaging team. You will work with cutting-edge ultrasound technology to provide life-saving insights for our patients while mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms on adult patients.
- Analyze diagnostic images and prepare detailed preliminary reports for cardiologists.
- Ensure compliance with IAC accreditation standards and hospital safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team during intraoperative imaging procedures.
- Mentor junior sonographers and oversee daily department workflow optimization.
- Maintain and troubleshoot high-end imaging equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Maintain precise patient records in our EMR system for continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credential through ARDMS.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or cardiology lab setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Proficiency with Philips or GE cardiovascular ultrasound platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
