Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural design from concept through construction documentation
- Develop innovative design solutions balancing aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability
- Coordinate with engineering, MEP, and landscape teams for integrated project delivery
- Manage client relationships and present design concepts to stakeholders
- Mentor junior architects and ensure adherence to BIM protocols
- Conduct site analysis and ensure compliance with building codes
- Oversee project budget and timeline coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience with 5+ years in lead roles
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino
- Proven portfolio of large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with sustainable design principles and passive house standards
