Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural projects from conceptual design through construction documentation
- Develop innovative design solutions that balance aesthetic vision with functional requirements
- Manage client relationships and project timelines while maintaining budget constraints
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors to ensure seamless execution
- Mentor junior architects and conduct design reviews to maintain quality standards
- Stay current with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices
- Present designs to clients, municipal authorities, and review boards
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture degree (BArch/MArch) with 8+ years of experience
- Licensure as a Registered Architect in Illinois (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in large-scale commercial/residential projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and rendering software
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and construction documentation
- Experience leading design teams and managing client expectations
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
