Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the hotel's IT infrastructure, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity.
- Manage and maintain the Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate data flow and operational efficiency.
- Lead digital transformation projects, including the integration of smart room technologies and mobile check-in solutions.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect guest data and corporate assets against evolving threats.
- Provide technical support to hotel staff and resolve complex IT issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware procurement, software licensing, and third-party IT service providers.
- Conduct regular IT audits and maintain compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations (GDPR).
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management within the hospitality or luxury retail sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of hotel property management systems (e.g., Oracle Opera, Micros Fidelio) and reservation platforms.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Hospitality Management.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or ITIL is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical staff.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
