This role offers significant exposure to all facets of the investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing and due diligence to portfolio management and exit strategy. You'll be instrumental in driving value for our investors and playing a pivotal role in our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for potential investment opportunities across various sectors.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda, presentations, and financial reports for internal review and investor communication.
- Support senior investment professionals in deal sourcing, negotiation, and structuring phases.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, identify value creation opportunities, and assist with strategic initiatives.
- Perform in-depth market research, industry analysis, and competitive landscaping to identify emerging trends and risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, and operational teams throughout the investment process.
- Participate in client meetings and investor relations activities, articulating investment theses and performance.
- Assist in the development and refinement of investment strategies and firm-wide analytical tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution. MBA or CFA designation is a significant plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a similar principal investing role.
- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in DCF, LBO, and comparable analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or comparable financial data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
