Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large volumes of clinical and operational data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and Clinical Leadership, to design data models that support decision-making.
- Ensure all data analysis processes comply with HIPAA and FDA regulations.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators.
- Perform statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of medical treatments and hospital protocols.
- Conduct regular audits of data integrity and accuracy within the electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Nursing, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis within a healthcare or medical setting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT codes).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
