As an Event Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our operations, ensuring that every touchpoint from the invite to the after-party is executed with precision and flair.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualization: Lead the creative and logistical planning of large-scale corporate conferences, product launches, and gala dinners.
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with venue partners, caterers, AV technicians, and creative agencies.
- Budget Control: Develop comprehensive event budgets, monitor expenses in real-time, and report on financial performance to stakeholders.
- Project Lifecycle: Oversee the entire event lifecycle, including timeline management, risk assessment, and on-site execution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, translating their vision into actionable plans.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of coordinators and freelancers, providing mentorship and ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, Asana) and MS Office suite.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to pitch to high-level executives.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for site visits and event supervision as required.
