Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental compliance inspections
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for near-misses and accidents
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for diverse workforces
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and regulatory reporting
- Monitor air/water quality and ensure proper waste management protocols
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain crisis management plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations and EPA compliance frameworks
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in safety metrics reporting
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certifications preferred
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enviance, Intelex)
- Excellent communication skills for training diverse stakeholders
