Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental reporting requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into new projects
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM/ASP/CSP credentials highly desirable
- Proven expertise in developing EHS policies, procedures, and management systems
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences and influence stakeholders
