Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct routine facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigation opportunities
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations
- Manage hazardous waste streams and ensure proper disposal documentation
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Monitor regulatory changes and maintain compliance documentation systems
- Collaborate with operations teams to integrate safety into daily workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 501 & 500 trainer certifications required
- Proficient in environmental reporting software (e.g., Enviance, Intelex)
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations
- Experience with industrial hygiene sampling and PPE program management
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
