Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure compliance
- Lead environmental sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, emissions monitoring, and regulatory reporting
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple industrial sites
- Manage hazardous material handling, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS metrics into business operations and continuous improvement
- Stay current on federal/state regulations (EPA, TCEQ, OSHA) and implement proactive compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM or CSP credential preferred
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex) and data analytics
- Demonstrated success in developing sustainability programs and achieving compliance milestones
- Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and regulatory bodies
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple facility sites
