Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for all personnel
- Manage environmental compliance including waste management and emissions reporting
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations
- Proficient in EHS software (e.g., Enviance, Intelex, or similar)
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to analyze data and develop corrective action plans
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites
