Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple facilities
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and spill response protocols
- Lead sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and circular economy projects
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Drive continuous improvement through safety audits and performance metrics analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM/ASP/CSP credentials preferred
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
- Demonstrated success implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Strong knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and TCEQ requirements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence all organizational levels
