Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct workplace inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments to identify hazards
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage environmental compliance including waste minimization, air permits, and spill prevention
- Analyze EHS data to generate actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Lead emergency response planning and sustainability initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into business operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and Texas environmental codes
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing KPIs and metrics
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
