Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct workplace hazard assessments and risk mitigation initiatives for chemical, physical, and biological exposures
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Manage environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and spill response
- Deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees across multiple facilities
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational adherence to federal/state/local requirements
- Champion sustainability initiatives including energy reduction and waste minimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- OSHA certification (e.g., CSP, CHMM) or equivalent professional credentials
- Expertise in EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA) and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Proven track record of developing successful safety culture transformation programs
- Strong crisis management experience with hazardous materials incidents
