Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct workplace safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental compliance reporting
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Deliver safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
- Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and carbon footprint tracking
- Maintain digital EHS records and prepare regulatory documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credential
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR) and EPA compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, or similar platforms)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience creating safety performance dashboards
- OSHA 30-hour and Hazwoper certifications required
- Experience with ISO 14001 and sustainability reporting standards preferred
