Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections across industrial facilities
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with data-driven corrective actions
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention programs
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees annually
- Ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Coordinate emergency response plans and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
- Proficient in EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, VelocityEHS)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience creating EHS dashboards
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites
