Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
- Lead safety training sessions for employees across multiple sites
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental reporting
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure preparedness protocols
- Track EHS KPIs and prepare executive-level compliance reports
- Maintain electronic recordkeeping systems and documentation
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHRM credentials preferred
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
- Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and TCEQ regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable improvement plans
- Valid driver's license and willingness for occasional travel to field sites
