Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead hazardous materials management, spill prevention, and waste reduction initiatives
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage regulatory reporting, permit applications, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and KPI monitoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP preferred
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ)
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills with bilingual capability (English/Spanish)
