Join EcoProtect Solutions as our Environmental Health & Safety Specialist and lead transformative sustainability initiatives across our industrial operations. This role offers the opportunity to shape our corporate sustainability strategy while ensuring compliance with stringent OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement in our environmental performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and inspections to identify safety hazards and environmental risks
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and regulatory reporting (RCRA, CERCLA)
- Oversee air quality monitoring programs and emissions control initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain crisis management protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and waste management protocols
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated success in implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Strong data analysis skills with experience developing EHS KPI dashboards
