As a cornerstone of our EHS program, you'll develop and implement comprehensive safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor environmental health and safety programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards
- Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees across all departments
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental compliance reporting
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operational processes
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and prepare regulatory compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHRM designation preferred
- Proficiency in environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, TSCA) and safety management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in safety metrics and KPI tracking
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple facility sites
