Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental impact evaluations
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action processes
- Manage hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and pollution prevention protocols
- Deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and resource conservation
- Prepare comprehensive EHS reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 501 certification and/or CSP/CHMM credentials
- Expertise in environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ) and safety management systems
- Proven experience developing and implementing sustainability programs
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train and influence at all levels
