Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance reviews
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air permits, and environmental reporting
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety into new processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using leading/lagging KPIs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years EHS management experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, DOT compliance, and environmental permitting
- Proven track record reducing TRIR rates by 30%+ through systematic interventions
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Intelex, VelocityEHS)
- Strong project management capabilities with cross-functional leadership experience
