Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action protocols
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and regulatory compliance programs
- Design and deliver innovative safety training initiatives for 500+ employees across 3 facilities
- Manage environmental permitting, reporting, and sustainability reporting initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement through safety audits, KPI tracking, and employee engagement programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and TCEQ permitting requirements
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates by 30%+ through innovative safety programs
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional EHS teams
