Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with actionable corrective actions
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management for industrial sites
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air/water permits, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using leading/lagging EHS metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 10+ years EHS management experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) required
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations
- Proven success implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated change management expertise
- Experience managing multi-site EHS programs in unionized environments
