Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct workplace safety audits, air monitoring, and hazardous material assessments
- Manage environmental compliance programs including waste minimization and spill prevention
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, TCEQ) during inspections and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven KPI tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 501 & 510 certifications required; CSP/CHMM preferred
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
- Proficient in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong experience with industrial hygiene sampling and risk assessment methodologies
- Proven track record in leading behavioral-based safety programs
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder reporting
