Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and environmental monitoring
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement corrective/preventive actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Professional certification (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and DOT compliance
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven experience managing cross-functional teams
