Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with actionable corrective actions
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention protocols
- Lead emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management initiatives
- Manage safety training programs for 200+ employees including lockout/tagout and confined space entry
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking and sustainability reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on EHS integration into new projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial settings
- OSHA 501/503, CHMM, or CSP certification required
- Expert knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (TCEQ, EPA)
- Proven experience developing EHS management systems and training programs
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Enviance, Cority)
- Strong leadership with demonstrated change management capabilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills for stakeholder reporting
